Damascus or Pattern welded steel
Damascus or pattern welded steel is a process of Forge welding at approximately 1200 C steels that have different combinations of metals together and after considerable pattern manipulation, forging into a blade . After polishing the blade is etched in acid, then neutralized to revel a pattern in the steel.
